The University of Texas at Austin’s Student Veteran Association (UT SVA) is an officially recognized student organization sponsored by Veteran and Military Affiliated Services in the Office of the Dean of Students.  We are dedicated to serving the veteran community at the University.    

 

Our mission is to create a welcoming social environment for all veterans and military-affiliated students on campus. We host a variety of events throughout the year, including:

•  New Student Campus Crawl (each semester)

• Fall Kickoff Tailgate (1st home football game)

• Salute to Service Football Game Tailgate (game closest to, but before Veterans Day)

• Salute to Service Baseball Game Crawfish Boil Tailgate

• Salute to Service Athletic Game Participation (various sports)

• End of semester celebrations (Biannually)

• Social Hours (Biweekly)
